The region of Central Greece has significant tourist advantages linked to its natural environment (ecosystems of great importance and exceptional beauty) as well as its anthropogenic environment. Here you find large and famous tourist resorts that combine all types of tourism, such as:
- Delphi in Fokida (archaeological – cultural tourism)
- Arachova in Voiotia, Karpenissi in Evritania and Steni on Evia (winter tourism-ski centres of Parnassos and Tymfristos)
- The spas of Edipsos, Ipati etc (therapeutic tourism)
- Agios Ioannis the Russian in Prokopi, Evia, Osios Loukas in Voiotia, Agathonoss Monastery in Fthiotida, Proussos Monastery in Evritania and other renowned monasteries and churches (religious tourism)

The great tourist interest that the region presents is supported by the significant number of hotel units present in the area. There are over 520 hotel units in the whole of Central Greece, providing some 30.000 beds.
